Srinagar, May 27 -- Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir Dr. Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq, in a post on X, strongly condemned the continued restrictions imposed on Eid congregational prayers at the historic Eidgah and Jama Masjid Srinagar, stating that for the eighth consecutive year, Muslims of Kashmir have been denied the right to offer Eid prayers at these revered religious places.

In a statement, Mirwaiz, who was also placed under house arrest ahead of Eid-ul-Azha prayers, said:
