Srinagar, May 17 -- Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir Dr. Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq, while addressing a Seerat Conference organised by Idarah Auqaf Gousia at Sarai Bala, Amira Kadal, stressed that mosques, khanqahs and imambaras are not only places for offering prayers but historically have served as vibrant centres of reform, learning, guidance and social transformation.
