Jammu, June 30 -- Share Tweet Share New Delhi, June 30 (KNS) : Senior IPS officer Mahesh Dixit on Tuesday assumed charge as the Director of the Intelligence Bureau (IB), succeeding the outgoing chief of the country's premier internal intelligence agency. A 1993-batch IPS officer of the erstwhile Andhra Pradesh cadre, Dixit brings with him extensive experience in intelligence and internal security.
