Jammu, June 5 -- Share Tweet Share Srinagar, Jun 5 (KNS): National Conference MP Aga Syed Ruhullah on Friday questioned his party-led government's decision to form a committee on the proposed liquor ban in Jammu and Kashmir, asserting that a "clear public mandate" already exists against alcohol. Speaking to news agency Kashmir News Service (KNS), MP Ruhullah said, "Why should we form a committee? We have to sit in the cabinet and take a decision." The Srinagar MP said a committee is only needed to seek public opinion. "But here, people have already told you their opinion when they voted for you - that alcohol is a crime.
