Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Monday led a mega anti-drug 'padyatra' in Bandipora town as part of the '100 Days Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyaan', officials said.

The march witnessed a large turnout of students, locals and civil society members, they said.

LG Sinha, while addressing the gathering, described the youth as the "true builders of the nation" and called upon them to stay away from substance abuse.

The Lieutenant Governor's direct participation in the district-level event was aimed at strengthening community involvement against the narcotics menace, the official added.
