Srinagar, May 3 -- The Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha, on Sunday launched a major campaign against drug abuse and narco-terrorism here, announcing a "zero tolerance" policy and calling for a collective fight involving youth, civil society, and community leaders.

An official told news agency Kashmir News Service (KNS) that the Lok Bhavan-led initiative seeks to intensify efforts to dismantle drug networks across Jammu and Kashmir.

The campaign will involve coordinated action by law enforcement agencies, strict monitoring, and large-scale awareness drives to identify and take action against peddlers and their backers, he said.
