Jammu, April 22 -- The Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Wednesday inaugurated Eveready Industries India Limited's new industrial unit in Samba district, saying the Rs 200 crore plant will boost local employment and contribute significantly to Jammu and Kashmir's economic growth.

Speaking at the inauguration, LG Sinha as per news agency Kashmir News Service (KNS) said the facility will create local jobs, energise ancillary units, and generate opportunities for women and youth.
