Jammu, April 4 --  Anantnag/New Delhi, Apr 4 (KNS): Kashmiri writer Dr Showkat Shifa represented Jammu and Kashmir at the Sahitya Akademi's Annual Festival of Letters held in New Delhi from March 30 to April 4. Shifa participated in the national literary event organised by the Sahitya Akademi under the aegis of the Ministry of Culture, officials said. The festival saw participation of over 700 writers and scholars representing more than 90 Indian languages, with nearly 100 sessions held during the multi-day event. The theme of this year's festival was "Indian Literature: The Cradle of Cultures".
