JKAACL employees threaten legal action over promotion delays
Jammu, June 4 -- Share Tweet Share Srinagar, Jun 4 (KNS): The Employees Association of the Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages (JKAACL) on Wednesday expressed concern over delays in holding the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) meetings and threatened to explore legal options if their grievances remain unaddressed. The issue was discussed at a meeting of the association held at Lalmandi here under the chairmanship of its president, Birjees Akhtar. The members alleged that despite assurances from the authorities, no steps have been taken to convene the DPC, affecting the career progression of eligible employees.
