The Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Department participated in a two-day Tourism Expo at Jamia Millia Islamia here to showcase the Union Territory's vast tourism potential, officials said on Saturday.

The event, held on April 16 and 17, featured 'Konposh' - a J&K culture and tourism fest - in place of a traditional expo stall. The department displayed a wide range of promotional material, including brochures, calendars, and scenic visuals highlighting the region's natural beauty and cultural richness.

The stall attracted a large number of visitors who showed keen interest in exploring diverse tourist destinations across the UT, an official said.
