Jammu, Aug. 27 -- Share Tweet Share SRINAGAR, Aug 27 (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir government on Thursday effected a major bureaucratic reshuffle in the police department, transferring and posting 14 officers including several IPS and JKPS officers with immediate effect. According to an order issued by Principal Secretary Chandrakar Bharti, M.K. Sinha, IPS (AGMUT:1996), has been transferred from ADG Headquarters to take over as ADG CID, Jammu and Kashmir. He replaces Nitish Kumar, IPS (AGMUT:1999), who has been moved to ADG Armed Police. Sujit Kumar, IPS (AGMUT:2007), has been shifted from IG Security to IG Kashmir Zone, one of the most sensitive postings in the Valley.
