Srinagar, April 16 -- The Jammu and Kashmir Higher Education Department said admissions to Four-Year Undergraduate Programmes (FYUGP) and Integrated Postgraduate Programmes for the 2026-27 academic session will be conducted on the basis of Class 12 merit, without CUET.
In an advance admission awareness notice, the department said all undergraduate admissions across government degree colleges in the Union Territory will be granted on the basis of 10+2 scores.
It said a centralised admission portal will be introduced for the process, through which students will be required to register and submit their applications. The portal link and registration details will be notified separately.
