Jammu, June 23 -- Share Tweet Share Srinagar, Jun 23 (KNS) : Inspector General of Police, Kashmir Zone, Vidhi Kumar Birdi, has been assigned the additional charge of the head of the Armed Wing of Jammu and Kashmir Police following the transfer of ADG Armed Anand Jain to Ladakh as its new DGP, officials said. As per the official order accessed news agency Kashmir News Service (KNS) stated that Jain has been relieved from his duties with immediate effect on Monday, consequent upon the Ministry of Home Affairs order dated June 22, 2026, transferring the IPS officer to the Union Territory of Ladakh.
