Heavy rain, thunderstorm likely in J&K from July 20: MeT
Jammu, July 14 -- Share Tweet Share Muhammad Suhail Srinagar, Jul 14 (KNS): The Meteorological Department on Tuesday forecast dry and humid weather in Jammu and Kashmir till July 17, warned of a significant wet spell from July 20 onwards, with possibilities of flash floods, cloudbursts and landslides in vulnerable areas. Speaking to news agency Kashmir News Service (KNS) Director Meteorological Department, Srinagar, Dr Mukhtar Ahmad said light to medium rainfall is likely between July 18 and 19, followed by a more intense spell from July 20 to July 22.
