The Gulmarg Development Authority (GDA) has ordered the re-sealing of at least six unauthorised structures in the tourist resort after violators resumed construction activities despite prior sealing, an official said on Monday.

An official told news agency Kashmir News Service (KNS) the repeat violations were reported from Mahyan, Qazipora, Ferozpora, and Drung areas, defying statutory orders under the J&K Control of Building Operations Act, 1988.

In a communication addressed to the Tehsildar of Tangmarg, the GDA said field inspections corroborated that some of the violators, whose structures had earlier been sealed, have resumed construction in clear violation of the law.
