Srinagar, May 18 -- The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of Crime Branch Jammu and Kashmir has filed a chargesheet against a retired Superintendent Engineer of the J&K State Power Development Corporation for allegedly manipulating his date of birth in official service records and destroying evidence to avail undue service benefits, police said on Monday.

The chargesheet was submitted before the Hon'ble Court of Chief Judicial Magistrate Srinagar in FIR No. 09/2015 under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471 and 201 of the Ranbir Penal Code (RPC) against the then In-Charge Superintendent Engineer, who has since retired.
