Jammu, June 11 -- Share Tweet Share Suhail Rather Srinagar, June 10 (KNS): A zipline facility has started operations in the Markoot area of Gurez Valley in north Kashmir's Bandipora district, adding a new adventure tourism activity to the region. The project has been set up by local resident Waheed Ahmad and is the first such facility in Gurez, officials said. The launch comes as Gurez has witnessed a rise in tourist arrivals in recent years. The valley, located near the Line of Control, has emerged as a popular destination for visitors during the summer season.
