Jammu, June 6 -- Share Tweet Share Srinagar, June 6 (KNS): Police have registered an FIR against a contractor in north Kashmir's Baramulla district for allegedly submitting a forged Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) document during a tendering process of the Roads and Buildings (R&B) Department in Tangmarg, officials said on Saturday. According to the FIR registered at Police Station Tangmarg, the case was filed on a complaint by Executive Engineer, R&B Division Tangmarg, Altaf Ahmad Lone, regarding the submission of an allegedly fake EMD in connection with a tender floated under NIT No. 04 of 2026 dated April 20, 2026.
