Srinagar, April 10 -- Deputy Commissioner Srinagar Akshay Labroo on Friday said the fencing of three bridges in Sher-e-Khass is nearing completion and will be finished within a week.

The DC identified the bridges as Ali Qadal, Zain Qadal Old, and Zain Qadal New, stating that the decision to install safety barriers followed persistent public demand.

"People came to meet us in our office. After that, we did a spot assessment with our concerned departments and in a very short time, the required fencing is almost nearing completion. In the next one week, all this work will be completed," DC Srinagar told reporters as per news agency Kashmir News Service (KNS).
