FDA J&K Intensifies Food Safety Crackdown: 118 Inspections, 54 Samples Lifted Across 16 Districts
Jammu, July 24 -- Share Tweet Share JAMMU, July 24 (KNS): The Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) of Jammu and Kashmir conducted 118 inspections of food business establishments and collected 54 enforcement samples of various food items, including paneer, honey, spices, and edible oils, for quality testing across 16 districts of the Union Territory. Officials said the samples, which also included milk, milk products, salt, cereals, and vanaspati, were lifted from areas including Jammu, Srinagar, Samba, Poonch, Rajouri, Reasi, Udhampur, Kathua, Anantnag, Bandipora, Budgam, Ganderbal, Kupwara, Shopian, Kulgam, and Pulwama.
