Jammu, July 21 -- Share Tweet Share Srinagar, Jul 21 (KNS): The daughter of former Block Development Council (BDC) member Tahir Ahmad of Mawer in Jammu and Kashmir's Kupwara district died at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi after a prolonged illness, family sources said on Tuesday. She had been undergoing treatment at the premier hospital for the past several months before succumbing to her illness, they said. The body is expected to reach her native village late Tuesday evening, while the funeral prayers (Namaz-e-Janaza) will be offered on Wednesday, followed by her burial.
