JAMMU, April 27 -- National Conference Additional General Secretary and Former Minister Ajay Kumar Sadhotra today said that dual control in governance is detrimental to the interests of Jammu and Kashmir, asserting that such an arrangement weakens accountability and delays decision-making at multiple levels.

Addressing a public meeting at Gadi in Jammu North Assembly Constituency, Sadhotra lashed out at the Bharatiya Janata Party led government in the Centre for undue delay in restoring statehood, despite assurances made in Parliament and affirmations before the Supreme Court of India.
