Srinagar, April 23 -- The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President Dr. Farooq Abdullah Thursday said that the Baisaran terror attack remains a deep scar on the collective conscience of the region, with its human and economic consequences still resonating across Kashmir.
On the anniversary of the brutal terror attack, Dr. Farooq observed that the tragedy continues to weigh heavily on affected families, many of whom are yet to come to terms with the loss of their loved ones. He said that beyond the massive human cost, the incident also dealt a severe blow to the region's tourism sector, which remains a vital pillar of the local economy.
