Srinagar, May 9 -- The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Vice President and Honourable Chief Minister Omar Abdullah Saturday paid rich tributes to party leader and former MLA from Shopian, Shaheed Sheikh Muhammad Mansoor, on his 36th death anniversary.

In a statement, Dr Farooq said, "Mansoor Sahab was among the true sons of the soil who sacrificed his life in the service of the people of Shopian and the erstwhile state. His dedication and contributions to the party and the people will be remembered for generations to come."
