In his message, Dr. Farooq said, "As the Muslim Ummah comes together to observe Eid-ul-Azha, I extend my warm greetings to everyone on this blessed occasion. The day commemorates the unwavering faith and supreme sacrifice of Hazrat Ibrahim (PBUH) who was prepared to sacrifice his son, Hazrat Ismail (AS), in obedience to the Almighty's command. However, the Almighty spared Hazrat Ismail (AS) and placed a ram in his stead, making this day a symbol of the greatest sacrifice and devotion in human history."
