Srinagar, April 25 -- Counter Intelligence Kashmir (CIK) of the Jammu and Kashmir Police on Saturday conducted searches inside Central Jail Srinagar in connection with a terror-linked case and recovered digital devices, officials said.
The searches were carried out following a warrant issued by a court designated under the NIA Act in connection with FIR No. 06/2023 registered at Police Station CI Kashmir under relevant sections of the IPC and the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, they told KNS.
Acting on technical inputs about the presence of suspicious digital signatures within the prison premises, CIK teams carried out searches across multiple barracks and blocks in coordination with jail authorities, the officials said.
