Srinagar, May 4 -- The Counter Intelligence Kashmir (CIK) on Monday executed a court-issued proclamation against an absconding accused in a case registered in 2023, directing him to surrender within 30 days or face property attachment.

Officials said the proclamation order under section 82 of the CrPC was issued by the Additional Sessions Judge (Special Judge designated under NIA Act), Srinagar, against Showkat Ahmad Sheikh @ Showkat Mochi, son of Ghulam Nabi Sheikh, a resident of Ganai Hamam, Baramulla. He is an absconding accused in FIR No. 07/2023 registered at Police Station CIK.
