Anantnag, June 3 -- Controller Legal Metrology Jammu and Kashmir Shiv Kumar Gupta on Wednesday inspected the under-construction Legal Metrology Laboratory and District Office Complex in Anantnag and directed officials to expedite work, asserting that the project would greatly benefit industrialists, entrepreneurs, traders and consumers in the southern belt of the valley.

Gupta, accompanied by Deputy Controllers of South and Central Kashmir and engineers of the Roads and Buildings Department, reviewed the progress of the project and asked the executing agency to ensure its timely completion so that the facility could be dedicated to the public at the earliest.
