Pakharpora, May 15 -- Mirwaiz Pakharpora, Peerzada Molana Shakeel-ur-Rehman Owaisi, expressed serious concern over the growing trend of alcohol and drug abuse and urged the government to impose a complete ban on alcohol in order to save the younger generation from destruction.

Addressing a large gathering during Friday prayers at Khanqah-e-Faiz Panah Ziyarat Aaliya Pakharpora, he appreciated the awareness campaigns, actions, and effective measures being taken by the Lieutenant Governor's administration to eradicate drug abuse. He said that the present administration is working sincerely to protect the youth from this menace, and positive results are beginning to emerge.
