Jammu, April 22 -- Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Wednesday visited the Government Medical College (GMC) in Udhampur and met the persons injured in a tragic road accident in the district.

An official told news agency Kashmir News Service (KNS) the Chief Minister interacted with the families of the victims and directed the hospital administration to ensure the best possible medical care, including continuous monitoring of those undergoing treatment.

CM Omar assured full support to the affected families and stressed the need for strict measures to prevent recurrence of such incidents in the future.
