CIK arrests two in Kashmir over alleged radical, anti-national social media content
Jammu, Aug. 10 -- Share Tweet Share Srinagar, Aug 10 (KNS): The Counter Intelligence Kashmir (CIK) has arrested two people in connection with a case involving the alleged circulation of radical and anti-national content on social media, officials said on Monday. The arrests were made on Sunday, a day after the intelligence agency carried out searches at several locations across the Kashmir Valley as part of its investigation into FIR No. 03/2023 registered at Police Station CIK Srinagar. The accused have been identified as Mehran Qazi, son of Atta Mohammad Qazi and a resident of Hiller Shahbad in Anantnag's Dooru area, and Babar Hamid Dar, son of Abdul Hamid Dar, a resident of Chankan in Sopore, officials said.
