Srinagar, April 24 -- National Conference president Dr Farooq Abdullah on Friday claimed that Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) is on a losing spree across the country, asserting that his party has "stopped the BJP in Kashmir" even as the ruling party faces imminent defeats in multiple states.
In a sharp attack on the saffron party, the former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister predicted that the electoral outcomes in West Bengal, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu would deliver a crushing blow to the BJP's expansion plans.
"Mamata Banerjee is poised for victory in West Bengal. The Congress is leading in Kerala. In Tamil Nadu, the Congress along with M.K. Stalin's party is set to win," Dr Farooq told news agency Kashmir News Service (KNS).
