BJP's liquor protest a farce; they were silent during Governor's rule: Tanvir Sadiq
Srinagar, May 16 -- National Conference chief spokesperson and MLA Zadibal Tanvir Sadiq on Saturday accused the BJP over their protest against liquor sales, questioning their silence during the Governor's rule in 2023, while vowing that the Omar Abdullah-led government will impose a ban on alcohol "very soon."
"It's a good thing that they did a protest. But unfortunately, when the Governor's rule was in place, they were not behind it," Sadiq told reporters here, as per Kashmir News Service (KNS).
