Srinagar May 1 (KNS), May 1 -- The Bharatiya Janata Party Jammu & Kashmir today expressed serious concern over the growing housing challenges in the Kashmir region and called for immediate, structured intervention to develop modern housing colonies.

In a statement, party State spokesperson Er. Sahil Bashir Bhat highlighted the pressing need to address the widening gap between housing demand and available infrastructure. He noted that rapid population growth, urban expansion, and socio-economic transitions have placed unprecedented strain on existing residential facilities.
