Artisans' delegation meets Altaf Bukhari, seeks intervention for handicrafts revival
Jammu, June 23 -- Share Tweet Share Srinagar, June 23 (KNS) : A delegation of Kashmiri artisans from the city's historic downtown on Tuesday called on Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari, urging him to intervene for the revival of the traditional handicrafts sector, which they said is facing a steady decline due to a host of challenges. The delegation, led by Mir Younis Ahmad, an office bearer of the Kaarigar Kalyan Foundation, apprised Bukhari of the grim realities confronting the artisan community.
