Shahgund, Feb. 26 -- Continuing its long-standing tradition of engaging with local communities during the holy month of Ramadan, an Indian Army unit stationed in Shahgund village of Bandipora organised an Iftar gathering for residents on Thursday evening. An official said that the event was held as a gesture of solidarity and goodwill, allowing the Army to join villagers in observing the sacred month. The Iftar was attended by a large number of locals, including elders and youth, who came together to break their fast and interact with Army personnel in a spirit of communal harmony.
