Army celebrates World Environment Day in Kupwara, Uri
Jammu, June 5 -- Share Tweet Share Srinagar, Jun 5 (KNS): The Indian Army's Chinar Corps on Friday celebrated World Environment Day in Kupwara and Uri with the theme "Hamari Sarzameen, Hamara Mustaqbil" (Our Land, Our Future), organising a series of events to promote environmental awareness and community participation. Officials said the day-long activities witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, teachers, local residents and environmental activists. The events included a 'Best Out of Waste' competition, waste collection challenge, waste segregation game, eco-quizzes, and an eco-friendly selfie point.
