Apni Party leaders join medical interns' protest
Jammu, Sept. 7 -- Share Tweet Share Srinagar, September 7 (KNS) : Apni Party Provincial President Mohammad Ashraf Mir and his several party colleagues on Monday joined the protesting MBBS and BDS interns along with several party colleagues, extending support to their demand for a fair and adequate hike in their internship stipend. Pertinently, medical interns from 10 Government Medical Colleges and two Dental Colleges across Jammu and Kashmir began a 48-hour hunger strike on Monday at GMC Srinagar after talks with the government failed to resolve their demand for an enhanced monthly internship stipend.
