Jammu, June 11 -- Share Tweet Share Srinagar, Jun 11(KNS): Anantnag MLA Peerzada Mohammad Syed on Thursday thanked Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw for approving a stoppage of the Vande Bharat Express at Anantnag railway station, saying the move fulfils a long-pending demand of the people of south Kashmir. In a statement, Syed said he had earlier urged the Railway Minister to provide a halt for the train at Anantnag in view of the growing demand for improved rail connectivity in the region. He said the decision would benefit students, patients, traders, employees, tourists and daily commuters by providing faster and more convenient travel facilities.
