Jammu, Aug. 14 -- Share Tweet Share Zubair Ahmed Karnah, Aug 14 (KNS): Residents of Bhatpora village, Ward 7 in Karnah tehsil of Kupwara district, are facing an acute shortage of drinking water for the last six days, with taps running dry and authorities yet to respond to their grievances, locals said on Friday. The water supply to the village suddenly snapped nearly a week ago, forcing the residents, including women and children, to walk long distances to fetch potable water from nearby sources, they said.
