New Delhi, Feb. 11 -- India opener Abhishek Sharma has been admitted to a private hospital in Delhi after suffering a stomach infection, casting doubt over his availability for the T20 World Cup group-stage match against Namibia.

According to reports, Abhishek was unwell even before India's previous match against the USA, and his condition worsened after the game. He was running a high fever and was given drips for relief. The left-handed batter did not attend the team's practice session at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Tuesday.
