Jammu, April 13 -- Suhail Rather Hajin Bandipora, April 13(KNS): In a significant action against drug trafficking, the police recovered approximately 600 grams of a substance suspected to be charas during a routine naka (checkpoint) check at the Vijpara area of Hajin on Monday. According to official sources, the contraband was seized from the possession of an accused identified as Mehraj Ud Din Beig, son of Abdul Rashid Beig and a resident of Vijpara. The recovery was made during a routine inspection aimed at curbing the movement of illegal substances in the area.
