Jammu, Nov. 7 -- Share Tweet Share Srinagar, Nov 7 (KNS): Government Medical Colleges (GMCs) in Jammu and Srinagar have together secured 30 additional postgraduate medical seats for the 2026-27 academic session, raising the combined intake of the two institutions to 549 from 519, officials said on Saturday. While GMC Jammu has added 12 seats, taking its postgraduate intake from 242 to 254, GMC Srinagar has secured 18 additional seats, with its intake rising from 277 to 295, they said. The expansion also brings new postgraduate specialisations to both institutions.
