Ananthnag, May 2 -- A joint team of the district civil administration and police in south Kashmir's Anantnag district on Saturday demolished 15 illegal shops and other encroachments on state and kahcharai land in Waghama area, officials said.
An official told news agency Kashmir News Service (KNS) the action was carried out under the ongoing 100-day Nasha Mukht LG Administration Programme, with officials identifying the demolished structures as being linked to individuals accused in cases under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
