Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Amod Ashok Nagpure (IPS) on Friday said police will use every legal provision to crack down on narcotics-related activities in south Kashmir's Anantnag district, vowing to "change the narrative" of Anantnag, which has been linked to drug supply for years.
"We will use every legal provision to act against drugs and change the narrative of Anantnag," the IPS officer told News Agency Kashmir News Service (KNS).
He said that while maintaining a people-centric approach to address public grievances, the police priorities include law and order, prevention of incidents, and coordination between the administration and the public.
