Leh, June 14 -- A training programme on Disaster Preparedness, Emergency Response, and the Use of Disaster Response Equipment was successfully conducted for State Emergency Operations Centre (SEOC) staff, teachers, and school children.

The programme aimed to enhance awareness and strengthen the capacity of participants in disaster preparedness and emergency response measures. Shri Binu Samuel, Deputy Commandant, 13th Battalion, National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), served as the Resource Person and delivered an informative session on disaster preparedness, emergency response protocols, and the effective use of disaster response equipment.
