Srinagar, June 29 -- Social activist Ajaz Ahmad War has voiced deep concern over persistent power outages in Maisuma, noting that residents endure nearly two hours of load-shedding during the day and an additional two hours each evening.

The disruption persists despite the area being fully metered and cabled two months ago, an upgrade that was meant to enhance supply reliability and curb curtailment, War said.
