Srinagar, March 11 -- In a significant development, E- Rickshaw operators are appealing to waive off late fitness fees . As e-rickshaws are a vital transport mode with no clear route policy. Drivers claim they weren't informed about fitness requirements by dealers or by awareness campaigns.

They're now asked to pay Rs 25/day late fees. The e rickshaw Owners urge Transport Commissioner, RTO Kashmir, Chief Secretary, and IG Traffic to intervene, citing financial hardship and seeking minimal or waived fees, highlighting the need for a clear policy to support these drivers.

They are also eager to deliver charter of demands especially on late fitness fees to the authorities.
