Nyoma, Nov. 5 -- Director General of Police (DGP), UT Ladakh, Shri Anand Jain, IPS, today visited Nyoma to assess the preparedness and security arrangements for the upcoming Panchayat Elections.

Deputy Commissioner, Changthang, Shri Nitish Rajora, IAS and Shri Rishabh Shukla warmly welcomed the visiting dignitaries upon their arrival at Nyoma.

The DGP was accompanied by DIGP, LKR, Shri Kaushal Sharma, IPS, and Shri Rajneesh Garg, AIG (Pers).

During the visit, the officers inspected the Mudh, Nyoma and Nidder polling stations to assess the security arrangements and ensure necessary preparedness for the smooth and peaceful conduct of the upcoming Panchayat Elections.
