Sopore, April 27 -- In a decisive enforcement action under the ongoing Nasha Mukt Jammu Kashmir Abhiyaan, Jammu and Kashmir Police, in coordination with Drug Control authorities, sealed an unlicensed medical store in Amargarh area of Sopore.
The action was taken during a routine checking drive, where the chemist shop was found operating without a valid licence, in clear violation of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act. Acting swiftly, the Drug Inspector sealed the premises on the spot, and legal proceedings have been initiated against the proprietor under relevant provisions of law.
